So I picked up my boyhood dream again, wanting to support myself through writing.

There have been countless times in the past that I wanted to embark on this path, but I always stayed on "thinking" without putting in practice.

This time, I acted.

When I was a teenager, I didn't play much.

But books must be an indispensable companion.

When I was young, Pipiru, Lu Xixi, Shuke Beta, Ma Xiaotiao, Xiaobuhuhu series, messy masterpieces, messy comics, messy magazines... these are the corners of the sky when I was young.

Then in junior high school, I came into contact with online literature, which opened the door to a new world, and it was out of control.

It turns out that there are so many bizarre fantasy stories in the world.

After the last period of work, I lost my sense of direction and decided to push myself.

I found that when I forced myself with the belief of "give up if you don't succeed", I was no longer a three-minute enthusiasm. A stumbling block.

But today, looking back on the past 710 days, I can confidently say to myself - you did it!

These are part of my mental journey before opening the book.

And the preparation I made was based on my own deep understanding that I am too far away from a mature author's skills.

For example, the word count of the daily update, as a reader, I also feel that the author with a daily update of 4,000 words is short and weak.

But for me who forcibly hangs the label of "writer" and has just explored in this direction, 4000 words is really the limit.

In the first three months, it may take me 5 hours just to write 2,000 words.

Coupled with ideas, I racked my brains for 10-12 hours a day, and it may only be 3000 words.

And these 3,000 words may not be able to meet the quality.

When I confirmed my writing ability and couldn't even reach the basic passing line, I thought of a way - I want to collect manuscripts!

The plan I made is to collect 100,000 words first and then publish the article, so that when I publish the article, maybe my writing ability will be sharpened to a certain extent, just enough to catch the update rhythm after the official book is opened.

Everything was as I wished. When I collected about 48 chapters of the manuscript, I calculated the time to put it on the shelves, and I just reserved a free period of 200,000 words.

I kept asking myself at that time, what is the point of my story, is it worth reading by readers?

I thought about it over and over again, and I still think there is.

In addition, my saved manuscripts have not been exhausted, so if you want me to give up here, how can it be, how can it be possible.

I continued to insist, but within a few days, when it was close to 70,000 words, I received a website short message.

At that moment, I felt relieved.

Further back, looking at the overall situation, although my footsteps are not steady enough, I am unswervingly moving forward, accumulating steps and even thousands of miles, testing the waters, pushing by categories, and putting them on shelves...everything is smoother than expected.

(But looking back, I also have a love-hate relationship with the manuscript.)

(Its good thing is that it helped me stick to it, and it's a credit.)

(But it also has shortcomings that cannot be erased, because the manuscript is a closed creation. For me, there is no obvious change in writing skills between the first chapter and the fiftieth chapter. Based on this closed vision, then In addition to the serious incompleteness of the initial ability to become an author, the 200,000 words of my previous free chapters, just like the comments of many readers, are full of small poisonous spots, so that when I look back now, I feel, wow, it really is written It sucks!)

Another reason is that creating this thing is really tiring!

I personally think that I am a person who loves words.

Even so, once I started writing, there were a hundred ways to dampen my enthusiasm.

The most straightforward thing is that although I have said so much, I can't satisfy all readers. It is indeed my lack of personal ability, and I have written bridges full of criticism and controversy.

But every time I see negative comments, whether it is extreme trolls or objective normal readers, it is equivalent to a blow and negates my efforts so far.

The last one is also the most hidden difficulty of this book.

As a newcomer, I am writing a book for the first time, not only setting such a huge original world background, but also rushing to sprint for 3 million words... This is a standard act of death.

The label "Hell Difficulty" was put on by myself.

Moreover, my idea is actually bigger than the existing framework of this book.

But with limited writing skills, there is no way to show half of the fantasy world I have outlined.

So the unavoidable fact is that from the mid-term onwards, I speed up the process intentionally or unintentionally, keeping the core highlights as much as possible, and reducing other peripheral content as much as possible. Even if the plot rhythm is fast, it is faster than boiling a frog in warm water. More readers are better.

Although at that stage, I still can't guarantee that I will be able to present the plot in my heart with high quality.

But I told myself repeatedly, newcomers and new works, if you can get to this point, your harvest is already huge enough.

If you have worked hard, struggled, and still collapse in the later stage, it does not mean that you are bad. On the contrary, you should be happy, because every failure is an opportunity for reflection, and you can learn from it to help you better next time jump.

However, after experiencing this state for a long time, it is easy for people to "degenerate".

From my current point of view, the content of the early stage of the book is too rough, and there are many flaws in both logic and narrative techniques.
